Hello, Sarah “Smile” Smith here, and I want to be your agent! Born in southern Georgia and raised throughout the Big Bend of Florida, this is the place I know as “home.” My passions were molded by a lifetime of experience found in the areas between Thomasville and the beautiful forgotten coast. This is the place where my heart is. And I believe that my heritage, knowledge and experience will provide the edge you need to find the place that your heart calls “home.”

My real estate career started early. I was blessed with an amazing mentor, both in life and profession. She helped kindle the flame of excitement that I have for the real estate industry. Working as both an agent and appraiser of real estate, I dedicated the beginnings of my adult life to this business. I started as a Sales Associate in 2005 and got my feet wet helping buyers and sellers with vacant land, home resales and finish to suit construction. Simultaneously, I began work as a licensed trainee in real estate appraisals. By the end of 2008, I was proudly working as a State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser in Leon, Wakulla and Franklin counties. Experience came quickly. And I loved the fast paced nature of it all. My mentor decided to retire and I was blessed to step into the role of running a local appraisal business. Those many years I spent learning the value of this area, both land and community, are priceless to me. It was a time when my career in real estate was
everything.

Then along came Mr. Smith, and life as I knew it changed. My attention shifted as I became a wife and then a mother. I stepped away from my career and am proud to have spent the last
decade raising my own family in this gorgeous place I love so much. They are my greatest accomplishment. And the biggest lesson I’ve found within the loving chaos of raising boys, is
that you never know where life will take you. And while it may be no surprise to some, here I am, back to business. I am enjoying a spirited return to the real estate industry alongside people that I truly respect. The team at Home Sweet Home are an inspiration in my return to the real estate industry.
